So ... we are hoping to watch the Tour de France stage from Nantua to Chambery this year. We are combining this with a trip around Switzerland and intend to watch from a suitable point on Le Grand Colombier. The plan is to get there a couple of days beforehand and wild camp.
Google maps street view shows a narrow windy road up the climb. Has anyone here done this climb in their motorhome and, if so, any advice, observations etc. would be most welcome?
