Hi folks

I'm thinking I need a set of hard-wearing tyres for my rear axle. Those with tag-axles will know that the rear tyres (third axle) wear down very quickly because they get dragged around tight corners. I want my front tyres and second axle to have good grip, but for the very rear I'm thinking less wear.

Any suggestions or comments?

Just for interest, Headley Tyres near Newbury suggested that Michelin Agilis would probably last the longest.

Have a look to see in Chen Sing ( sp ? ) make tyres in the size you want

Bloody things are made of solid plastic I should think.. Absolutely zero grip in the damp but never ever wear out !

I see what you mean. Opinions are fairly similar: bad grip and in the wet pretty much zero grip.
