Maria was an eminant mathmatician credited amongs other things with writing the first book discussing both differential and integral calculus and was an honorary member of the faculty at the University of Bologna.
she spent the last 40 years of her life studying Patristics which as you all know is the study of
the Early Christian writers who are designated Church Fathers.
