Can anyone tell me how to replace the striplight on the back of the handrail on a Niesmann & Bischoff Arto 76E please?

I've just spoken to Travelworld (albeit someone not actually in the workshop) and they tell me that we will need to replace the whole handrail.... seems a bit excessive to say the least - can this be right?

If you stick up a photo of it, it may help others to offer advice :)

If you don't find a fix on here try contacting the factory and see what they say.

Hi, yes will add a photo but it will only show the handrail which is chrome either end of a rubberised grip, the light itself is behind the rail so is unseen when unlit - you can only see it if you hold a mirror behind the rail. Its a strip light but I can't see how to remove the housing. It seems bonkers that the whole handrail will need to be replaced... doesn't it???

I've looked on the Niesmann & Bischoff website but they don't give much away - perhaps I'll have to email them

It might just be a light at one end and using the plastic to transmit the light, or otherwise LED's behind it.

Hi Martin - I see you have a flair. Have you ever had to replace the bulb?

Just thought I'd update on the handrail light. Apparently you do actually need to replace the whole handrail.

Luckily our MH is still under warranty!
