So im off to Winchester for a few days soon to do some family history stuff in the records office.

Can anyone recomend any interesting places to visit while I am down there?

Could be motorhome related or anything worth visiting.

Winchester Catherdral (Round table), Portsmouth historic dockyard, D-Day museum at Southsea, Nepoleonic forts now a museum. Chawton, home of Jane Austin a nice little museum of rural life there as well. HMS dolphin Submarine museum in Gosport, Arundel Castle, Fontwell park race course, Goodwood a number of museums.
Fishbourne roman palace, Charles Dickens museum Portsmouth, Stanstead house, Petworth House, Uppark house.

Hi.
Treat yourselves to a night or two at "Setthorns C&cc run site" in the New Forest. I think they now come under the heading of Camping in the Forest holidays,it was the Forestry Commission sites before then.
It is near Sway/Brockenhurst,there are other sites in the forest run by the c&cc,under this umbrella,but in my opinion,Setthorns is the best.
