We are in the process of purchasing a mh and both my boys asked if they could hammock abroad. We camp atm and my boys use their hammocks were possible. My question is when overseas is their plenty of aires with trees suitable for hammocks? And is it safe to hammock on an aires.
Also do campsites abroad allow hammocking in trees? Has anyone any experience of this?

Not sure about aires given the restrictions placed on a lot of them but I have seen hammocks used in campsites in Italy, mainly by motorbikers!

We use hammocks on campsites but are careful not to damage the trees. I'd be less included to use them in aires and have only used them on campsites; France mainly.
