We are now just over half way round our Norther England / Scotland tour and the furthest north we are going.

I have to admit that I feel I have been spoilt with the easy driving motorways provide as driving in the highlands has been quite an experience and quite hard work with the many many gear changes and the much slower speeds. Don’t get me wrong I am not complaining and is no doubt preparing me for our trip down to Spain in four weeks time via France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France. Well thats kind of the plan but we will see.

So Pleased that you have mainly enjoyed your trip around Scotland, everyone flies past on their way to the Highlands which is wonderful as we know but next time try and spend some time in the Southwest of Scotland and the Borders and you will be wonderfully rewarded and it is not so far either ! ;)

Doing exactly that now and have stopped for a week near Perth then on to Lauder in the borders for a few days. :)
