Hi all

We'd like to plan a walk along the route of Hadrian's Wall and are struggling to find suitable sites.

As we're not remotely fit the idea would be to start from the West and walk East, covering 5 -7 miles per day returning to the camp via public transport, the driving to near where we left off and repeating.

OK - it's a massively inefficient way of doing it, but as we both want to walk together I can't think of a better approach

Has anyone out there done anything similar ?

Are there many (any) sites along the route ?

Cheers

This is the transport you'll need but it only runs until 27th October (just google Hadrians Wall Bus for more info),

When are you thinking of doing your walk?

Hi

Yes we found the bus, but were looking for motorhome friendly campsites that we can drop into. These seem to be a bit thin on the ground

We're thinking about sometime next year
