as most of you know we lost buster july last year and tuppence night before our anniversary

on 3 aug this year
[HI]please no sympathy replies[/HI]

storey is
we havent had a leg of lamb for ages

so for a change we had a bone in top leg

you know the back leg
cut in half with a shank end that gets cut of

f well we had the top bit

so i put it in the oven peeled and parboiled the spuds

in they went

leeks cauli and broccli all in the steamer

well out comes the lamb top oven to rest

made the gravy put my veg on

same as seniormissmanagements and juniormissmanagements veg

just not boiled to mush

well as i am [STRIKE]winding[/STRIKE]stirring the gravy

i thought its a while since we had a bone in sunday joint

best get the skewer out of the knife draw

give the dogs there treat

gravy was stopped stirring as it was done

out came the joint after resting carved it

picked the knucle bone up proceded

to remove the marrow bone juice from the bone

onto a side plate redy to feed to buster and tuppence

that was my watery moment

picture it a 16 stone bald fat ugly bugger looking

at what i had just done with soft tears rolling down me cheeks

told the misses it was sweat but we know differant a:cry:

I kinow exactly how you feel - we lost Ollie at August bank holiday and even now, I come down every morning looking for fir balls so as as to step in them. Can be slippary beggars on laminate floors. Every wednesday night, it's chippy night, and I still put some fish on the side of my plate to give him after I've finished.

I still have a tear or two when I think about my departed Dobermanns....

Please add another old bald headed bugger to your list!
