We have a 2005 Autotrail Dakota and the central locking on the habitation door has stopped working. It makes a "clunk" when the rest of the central locking locks but the door isn't locked. It locks/unlocks with the key ok.Anybody know anything about these things??

hi and welcome....

sounds like the linkage between the locking actuator and the lock mechanism has come adrift.

if you are mechanically minded its not a hard job and you need to remove the door trim and check all the links.
if you cant find where a link refits you may need to remove the other door trim to locate the fixing point.

the trim will be sucured by 'hidden' screws and clips and care must be taken not to break the plastic clips.
if it doesnt easily come off you've missed a clip or two.

carefully peel back any clear polythene sheet behind the trim as it really does need to go back to prevent water ingress.

ooops...just re-read your post.....same applies but the trim will, of course, be different to the cab door trim
