I know there are some greats out there, this one wasn`t heard much because the radio version was always the short one but I bloody loves it.

    lesser known guitarist

I know there are many greats that stun the world with their skills, but hey who remembers it was Berton Averre who wrote the riff for Doug Frieger`s
    "My Sharona"

Which other unknowns made us listen?

Was on my way to see Budgie at Newcastle City Hall in the early 70's , got off the bus at the Haymarket and walked round the corner past a sitty doon fish'n'chip shop and there was Burke Shelley , Tony Bourge and Pete Boot sitting down to cod and chips before the gig ..... Great band , they rocked the toon that night . :thumb:

One of the most underated bands of the 1970's, they could create a big sound with just 3 members and more importantly, they could play...

My only regret is that I never saw Lindisfarne in Newcastle, Town Hall. I saw them twice, the 1st time was in 1973, glorious days...
