At Millport Alan thought he would help the demolition of a wall along. As per photo.

On our return home took it to a local MH repairer.

An insurance estimate of guess how much?

Alan is now repairing it himself. Doing a good job too.

Anyone got any paint blending tips?

Spot on. So far its cost around £145 on parts and spray paint but think Alan has decided might be best to follow @Robert Clark advice and get paint job done professionally.

No the building is set for demolition. I think Alan was secretly trying to earn a little money by trying to knock it down. Worst of it is he had just fitted a reversing camera a few weeks before.

What a joke, how can anyone qoute such a sum and keep a straight face, its one of the many reasons I choose and always recommend you try to do stuff yourself if possible at least that way you know whats been done.

My Heki 3 leaked over the winter so looked for someone local as the weather was so bad,billed me twice his estimate.Guaranteed it would never leak again,guess what 3 months later it leaked.We had just landed in France,luckily I had a small tube of sealer that stopped it.Their website guarantees all work for 3 years and he now says the only way forward is to replace the rooflight but and the big but is at my expense,although he will give me a favourable price for the parts.No way is he doing any more work on my van,I would have done it myself but it was too cold and wet last December,there is nothing wrong with my Heki.They just didn't put enough sealer on it.

Hey you leave me out of this...folk will think it was my fault saying I was watching him back.......
I wasn't responsible for the sudden increase in speed..
And when he's finished his (and it looks to be coming on well. )
He might like to make amends and fix mine

Mines a legacy of our trip to the western Isles. ..
Alans reversing hasn't improved but in his defence he didn't have a reversing camera fitted then.... and as has been said didn't help much at Millport ...
