    :( That is not "fun".

Having been to the Le Mans 24 Hours for the past 7 years in a row the first thing which came to mind when I saw "grounded" was your motorhome stuck in the mud in the trackside campsite (sorry, "field"!)

This sounds somewhat more expensive, good luck with getting back on the road. It would be interesting from a mechy point of view to know what went wrong and what the fix was though.

    Stuck?

I'm about an hour away from you at Bauge, and heading north tomorrow... if there's anything I can do to help I'd be happy to (I'm mainly useful for giving lifts and holding things as my technical knowledge is feeble).

PM me if you like... or if you just want someone else to bounce ideas off.

    Any progress?
    Are you still there?
    What is the problem, exactly?

They seek him here.. they seek him there!

.....and like the elusive Pimpernel.... he's gone!

As I was planning to travel that way anyway, I followed Heyupluv's suggestion above at called in at the aire at La Suze sur Sarthe.

A nice English chap in a huge tag axle Frankia told me that Alan & Lynda had left at approx. 0800 heading for the Fiat dealer at Le Mans, so it looks like I missed them (to be fair I was probably only going to be able to drink their coffee and nod my head and offer condolences!).

If I see a Fiat dealership with a dejected MH owner sat outside on my continuing journey, I'll try and say hello.

    Rain.... wot rain?

It had certainly stopped when I was there this morning (about 10:45-ish) but as I've travelled north it's been raining intermittently. At Falaise now and its lovely and sunny!
