Motorhome has an electrical waste water disposal. It stopped working.
Engineer here took it all apart and found part broken as in photo.
I contacted seller as it's under warranty but they cannot track down a part. They say they've tried all their usual suppliers and the part appears to be obsolete.
They've suggested adapting the waste outlet so that is a manual one. That doesn't bother me, but I am wondering whether it will detract from the value of the motorhome if I come to sell it.

Any advice, as always, is gratefully received.

It is just the bearing that has broken up there should be a reference number stamped on it and most bearing suppliers should be able to trace and supply

difficult to tell from the photo but it looks like the bearing housing has broken up as well.

as its very rare to have a grey pump anyway, I cant see it making any difference to the resale value.

Is it a part for the pump or the pump that is obsolete? If it is the part then replace the pump. If it is the pump then there must be other pumps available that can be adapted to fit. If it's under warranty the pump is their responsibility not yours and they should solve the problem.

    Thanks everyone.
The engineer here is now talking to the dealership in the UK and they are trying to get parts for best solution. Have to say the dealer has been great and not quibbled over anything.
They will pay for parts and pay James the engineer.
