Hi All,
thought I would just share, firstly a thought and then a modification that works excellently.
Got back to the MH and our kit was damp, I don't mean dripping wet, just damp from the fine misty stuff.
Anyway, turned the heating on and put the blowers on from the heater to warm the van, all snug there. I opened the wardrobe door on the Autotrail and noticed the floor panel was warm to touch. Pulled up hatch and the heat came bundling out - the rear of the heater and the blown air pipes are under the wardrobe floor, checked and none was leaking, the warmth is just 'off' the heater and the outside of the trunking.
What an idea, I thought - fit a grill in the floor hatch and that warm (waste) air now feeds into the wardrobe. We hang our damp(ish) clothes in there and the wardrobe now acts as an airing cupboard,,,,,, clothes now dry, lovely and snug in no time - wife puts pyjamas in there for an hour before bedtime.
It really works and uses wasted warmth.:thumb:
Piccy.
Hope it helps,
Regards,
