I am not a fan of learning from videos but stumbled across this guy and if you have a little bit of relevant knowledge his fast paced teaching style is fantastic.

I found him when looking for a breakdown of UI design for android specifically fragments. His tutorial was fast paced with no waffle. First video tutorial I have ever watched without skipping bits and shouting at the teacher to hurry up.

I have just watched his half hour lesson on Java. Not programmed Java before but have done C++ and OO Php. I am really impressed.

I think I may be spending quite a bit of time on this channel. Only the second youtube channel I have subscribed to I think.

PS: Yup just checked the other subscription was Chris Hadfield the ISS Astronaut.

Very good just watched one of the Design Pattern videos, explained it well. I use these type of videos quite alot especially when researching new methods, but usually they do drag and seem to be a seminar filmed at a conference.

    Thanks good find.

Does that mean that you are back on track regarding the Android App for Motorhomes?

Yes, I was making progress this week. Not got anything done this weekend as I have a server migration job on for a client. Monday is Jim has me booked so hopefully get a bit more done this week after that.

I will continue to post updates on the original thread. http://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/threads/motorhome-app.60648/

I am stunned that it has been 2 and a half years since I had this idea...
