WOW! That's all I can say!

Our motorhome was starting to show the signs of of this damp weather, her roof was looking decidedly green! And in general she needed a bit of TLC, so because I am lazy, I found a company to come and do the dirty work for me.

After many problems with email spam filters (on both sides) and dodgy mobile phone signals (hey we're in Dorset!) finally got the appointment booked with http://www.caravanvalet.com/ They were due to arrive at 8:30 this morning, but at 9, I got a call saying that his van had broken down. I have to say my heart was sinking, I have heard that excuse a lot. But I was wrong, at 10:30, as promised, Gordon turned up in a family hatchback, stuffed full of cleaning gear (I am sure his wife may have words later). They instantly set to work.

About 5 and a half hours later, the guys let me know that they were all done! My god the van looks good, she's been washed and polished, they've corrected many scratches that I have inflicted on the bodywork. And she is positively gleaming. I took some before photos, but it is now tipping it down with rain, so I can't do the afters, I will get them done tomorrow (weather permitting)

Can't recommend these guys highly enough :D

Excellent, I've taken note of the company name & if we're down that way, we'll give them a call.

Sadly it has rained almost perpetually, and the times it wasn't, I was installing the Snipe, so still no after photos. However I just love how the rain is beading all over the van. Little things I know! :D

Finally I am at the van, and it isn't raining, so I have some pictures post valet. You have to remember that the van is parked under trees, so there is a little debris build up and it has rained solidly since it was done, but I think the photos still do the clean justice. So here we go, this is what she looked like before the clean:

Not too bad, but certainly not looking her best I think you'll agree!

Now, this is what she looks like now, also there has been a clown climbing around on the roof fitting a Snipe (that would be me) so for the observant few, you may notice the small addition :D
