It was great to bump into(not literally!) Ray (Rayb182) yesterday at Glendaruel caravan site in the Cowal peninsula last night.
Isn't being part of a community a great thing?

There was us in "the back and beyond", miles from anywhere, up seeing my brother in Glendaruel, in comes a van into the campsite, good, I'll give them a Motorhomefun flyer, they thought I was taking the mick, that's when I noticed the round disk with the fun face on, Mag52 and her partner and two dogs, It was nice meeting you both.
Hope your enjoying Isle of Bute, we're now parked up in massive layby on the A77 just past Lendalfoot over looking Ailsa Craig, watching a blinding sunset, south again tomorrow.:thumb:

We spent last night in a massive lay-by near Lendelfoot, Ayrshire, overlooking Ailsa Craig, went to bed in fog, but woke up to sunshine,

I use a Sigma 70-300 mm lens, on a Canon EOS 600D, Focal length 214mm,
    f/8
    1/500
    ISO-100
Lovely lens, zoom right up to the lighthouse,
When we come down to the River Deben during the summer I'll bring it down.
