Can you point it at a wind generator so it runs itself and charges a battery:thumb:

We are planning on buying a fan - is this one effective enough to justify the cost??

Have tried it in the MH and we are very impressed. I can't say whether it would be worth the extra cost to anyone else, but it is to us. It uses 12v system and kicks out an impressive 'breeze', we have 2 dogs who we would worry about getting overheated during the day when on the continent and we use a fan in the bedroom at home on summer nights, so would hate to be without this in the MH in hot weather.

Just had a look at it on YouTube and it sounded a bit noisy, what do you think of the noise levels JACQ?

You can definitely hear it, but as we have a domestic fan going all night in our bedroom I suppose we've become accustomed to the background noise and it doesn't bother us. Having said that, my husband is an RAC patrol and used to go out on call outs all through the night and anyone could have climbed into bed with me and I wouldn't have known!:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

We bought one last year and used it in the South of France in August, amazing, worth every penny, we only have a van conversion so a small area but most nights we only needed it on the lowest setting. Also compact to store which is vital in a PVC

I got one from West Marine in the USA for about 40 USD a couple of years ago. Great bit of kit. I hand carried back as was out there on business but well worth checking out and even paying VAT if cheap enough over there.

I saw this and wondered how good it is. It's lower price than the endless breeze.

i have this 1 and in all honesty i believe it was a waste of money it said it fits my vent yes it does but i have to remove it to open the vent and then the vent has to be fully opened to be able to replace the fan and at 12v its not that affective if i knew then what i know now i would have spent the cash on a good 240 v turbo fan for less money

I have one (endless breeze), never been used in anger and still boxed. £50 anyone? I'll be at the Northern show, P.M. if interested.

we've got one of these & think its brilliant. Have used it on the continent in very hot conditions and it works a treat. Have had it running all night sometimes and don't find it too noisy.

our new van has the ceiling mounted one "Fantastic fan" and it sucks air through the front skylight and out through the bedroom :thumb:

BTW using the same number, if anyone wants to view my additions of solar auto changeover and inverter etc besides the proliferation of other mods like the spare wheel carrier, fiamma 77 , extra windows etc
It'll be a pleasure (bring a drink ):roflmto:
