Good campsite for kids and dogs southwest (1 Viewer)

Hi can anyone recommend a campsite (not a commercial one like haven or warners) where we can take the gran kids (3 and 5 yrs) , have swings or a small play area and have good dog walks. I was thinking of somwhere on the canal near Bath , Exmoor or Dartmoor. Many thanks Lin

Wiltshire Campsite

We have stayed at Blackland Lakes nr Calne. It is a nice site with 7 small paddocks. We took our 2 dogs and Grandaughter. It is very nice and clean and if you are into fishing there are some lakes to try.

Bath marina is a nice site. It has a play park opposite, you can walk along the river in to town ( long but nice) or there is the bus stop outside. Also there is a great park on the way in with all sorts of play equipment including zip wires and guess what? It's all free :thumb:
