Hi,

We are leaving for Spain on the 22nd for 5 weeks.
No real plans as such, as it is our first visit with the MH to Southern Spain, any info would be helpful,

Hi Drive you don't say witch way you are going if from north Spain
It is strate forward a campsite just south of Madrid at aranjuez
If going from Calais try website Through France without tolls
And through Spain without tolls there are a lot of campsites open
And Aires at this time of the year drive safe and have a grate time
We are going to La Marina south of Alicante Robbo

@Drive if you look in the resources section at the top of the page you will find my often used non toll route which includes some stops that we use..

Safe travels to you both... I am cheating and taking Mr Ryan Air for my visit to Beni in November :)

Hi,
Thanks for the response,
We are looking to start our trip at Barcelona, the travel along the coast to the Algarve,
Looking for sites along route that are close enough to the popular places, so as we can hop on buses etc.
No real plans just going with the flow

Appreciate any recommendations

Be aware that the around Barcelona, Costa brava / Dorada sites will start closing around mid October, so if you are thinking of using sites plan ahead.. This link may help. www.vayacamping.net
All the Aires Spain book would be useful plus Link Removed
Aires in Spain are not like France, very few are free, most are private and charge.

Once you get nearer to Valencia region most sites are open all winter..

The ACSI book will show sites which are open, although it isn't always totally accurate. In France we've found places closing earlier than published but if a site says it is open all year it should be.
