Savings are difficult to generalize, but using a Foreign Exchange broker for best currency rate you'll probably get a 2-3 year younger van than in UK when all brought to same currency. If you have a LHD to exchange, you'll also get a better price. Mine was 23 years old & UK dealers didn't want it. I took it 'home' & they loved it!
Look at Dumo Reismobile. They have one site at Dulmen, NW of Mulheim and another at Emerich on Rhein which is on route to Arnhem. I have never seen such a selection of van-based campers. Mouth-watering!

We have had a Swift Mondial rl campervan from new, 58 plate, and downsized from an A class Pilote. It is our only vehicle and does'nt cost any more than a car to run. We have, in the last two years, bought an old bungalow and completely refurbished it. It knows it's way to B & Q, IKEA, and the local rubbish tip! But when we go to site it looks like new, and we have fitted lined curtains to the back doors and one across the cab which makes a large storage space for the bedding etc. All in all it was the best decision we have made regarding motorhomes and we are still very happy with our van. ::bigsmile: Ann and Mick
