1970 my uncle lived in Cottingham. He was head caretaker at the girls dormitory for Hull university. We had our honeymoon there with him and my aunt cos we were even poorer then. @Minxy Girl
He lived in Thwaite Cottage.

Don't know. I used to visit him when i was at Catterick. Help him de clinker the boilers. Very fond memories of seeing the students run around in various stages of undress!
Bear in mind i was 17/18 then.

Quite a few on the Globecar forum are here as well I'm here at some point most days lurking
It would be sad if the forum cant be got going again as there is a lot of useful info stored
It's never that busy a site but its nice to have a dedicated place to ask Globecar questions.
Only issue with asking specific Globecar questions here is that due to the amount of traffic post can be missed but usually someone can assist
