I've contacted a few companies for quotes on air suspension and GlideRite seem very professional and reasonable, has anybody on here had any work done by them?

Not myself but friend with an Arto that is about 7 years old has and he was well pleased. Especially so when he found out that he paid paid far less than I did for similar work elsewhere.

45 yrs Tugging
Just recently fitted Dunlop Air bags with 5 year warranty
Contacted Dunlop who put me on to Marcle Leisure who are their agents
In England.
Very professional and helpful ordered mid afternoon delivered next day.
Then with help of J R Consultancy have just upgraded my weight on
2015 Autotrail Tracker FB from 3650kg to 4050kg.
They work well at app 30 lbs pressure giving more stability round French roundabouts.

Thanks for the info.
My main objective is to be able to pump up the rear to help getting over a awkward driveway.

I can't help with Gliderite but we are booked into AS AirSuspension in Warrington next month to have their system fitted. This will be the third moho on which we have had the AS system and have always found their service second to none.
Thanks for the info.

If the rear height rise is important to you and if you have an Al-Ko chassis ..... it would be worth checking how much movement to expect, as in my experience it is not possible to get a huge rise with Al-Ko axle, probably about 40mm.

Ive spoken to AS too. Both companies have said a minimum of 2" but may raise to 4". Its full ALKO which is a bit of a pain as normal leaf spring chassis is a lot cheaper and you can raise higher..

Have a chat with Graham at Courtside Conversions at Tiverton. He's just fitted VB full air to the rear if my MH on AlKo chassis. Had jacking system fitted at same time. Very knowledgable and just around the corner.

Since 1964 Gosh that makes me feel old.
Scottish ambulances were fitted with this suspension since the early 2000s & it was incredibly reliable. the pumps occasionally failed, but the vehicle was raised & lowered dozens of times a day.
So with that kind of professional use it just had to be good.
