For camping try the Isle of Avalon campsite http://www.avaloncaravanpark.co.uk/ which is a short walk into the town plus the carnival starts at the roundabout near the site. The award winning Old Oaks site Broken Link Removed is not so near but a lovely site. However, given the popularity of the carnival both sites may be fully booked by now, so you may have to look for something further out and drive in.

For parking there are sites in and around the town plus temporary car parks e.g. Tesco in Glastonbury (from 6.30pm). Beware that a lot of the surrounding roads close on Friday/Saturday or just Saturday so make sure of your route before you get here. This might help http://glastonburycarnival.com/carparking.html
