Seen on the BBc this morning
The EU to slap punitive import tax on Chinese Solar Panel imports
To protect German Panel Manufacturing, it went on to more or less say it was too late as most had gone to the wall already
I suspect now local UK Importers and suppliers will stockpile Chinese panels untill the prices rise then sell on at the higher price,
    Wouldnt you??:Eeek:

Well that's good news for me. We manufacture several layers of the film that goes into making solar panels. The main manufacturer of panels in Europe is from Italy who recently built a plant in China so they can compete with them on their own patch.

I don't think motorhomers use of panels is causing the anal twitching. Its more the domestic use of panels or the 'Solar Scam'. People are being encourage/bribed to generate electricity by having panels fitted to the house roofs-in this country! The scam is the feed in tariff that people are being paid which is subsidised by other consumers increase in their bills, which is as much as 28%.One power supplier is a German owned company which has recently been revealed to be a UK tax dodger.

Too late. 2x100W of semi-flexible mono-crystalline goodness is already in the post. Ironically, they claim to be TuV approved...
