Best make sure you have at least 2-3 days or more there in theBerchtesgaden area because its often cloudy & misty in those mountains- When I went it was a pea souper but then the clouds opened up for a while & saw the magnificent views from the Eagles Nest. Other people said they had been a few times & had not seen the views due to the same reason of mist.

    When are you going ?:thumb:

At Auschwitz you can stay overnight in the carpark opposite the main gate. There is also a restaurant there.

Would suggest going on to Krakow afterwards.

Put Bergen-Hohne in your Satnav then you van visit Belsen on your way through to Berlin which is about 7 hours to Bergen then another 3 to Berlin Belsen certanly worth a visit )and I can give you somewhere to park for the night) really easy journey from Calais to here but even better from Hull to Hook of Holland. Let me know if you need ant advice.

i may take the hook on the return as its only around 45mins drive home from harwich for me and due to the fact i always use the tunnel the hook is just around £10 more
