Very motor home friendly over there, and an outdoor culture.

Don't know any members though. Wonderful place to have a tour around.

We love Germany, and are going back again in September for our 3rd visit. :thumb:

My son and family live in Northern Germany so I do spend time there now and again.

We're off to Germany next month, primarily to 'do' the Alpenstrasse. This appears to be a popular area with lots of stellplatzen.
We went over there a couple of years ago and were impressed with the stellplatzen, campsites and ease of travel. No motorway tolls makes route planning very easy.

Guten Tag from Snowy Germany

We live in Northern Germany not too far from Hanover, desperate for the snowing to stop it seems to have snowed almost every day since November. The fan is 'primed' and ready to go (just need to add water) hopeful that we can get away for a week just after Easter after the daughter and Grandkids have visited and eaten us out of house and home! Cant wait to see them though. :thumb:

Sorry Pappajohn, was posted over here 6 months ago so suppose I should have changed it by now. Although I am originally from the Midlands we have spent more than 30 years in the South of England and my grandkids are there so as they say home is where the heart is! Will probably be posted back to the UK by the end of the year!!
