German environmental green card

    Can anyone tell me how vital the environmental card is when travelling in Germany:Sad:

    Not very. They only really cover city centres where you'd prefer to park and ride unless you have a PVC. There may be a few that are a bit more restrictive.

    l agree with Addie and you never know if you have to go through a zone and then a problem

    Hi

    If your MH is fairly new you can get a green plakette and that allows you access to anywhere you like . We found out in Germany when our aircon was fixed in a
    Mercedes garage that our Rapido (7 years old) could only get a yellow one so did not bother since most places only allow green . However a friend of ours has travelled and stayed in many cities in Germany over the last 3 years and did not even know he needed one since nobody has stopped him . Personally we are not too bothered since big cities are not great to take a MH into at the best of times.
