Oh gosh I'm so sorry to hear that, you do have my genuine sympathies. But you know that however hard it was, you did what was right for her. I hope you have somebody who can give you a hug and a shoulder to cry on.
I guess she'll always be with you; I know I sometimes see my boys (border collies) jumping up at the window of our house when I drive in, although they never lived here; I can still feel the shapes of their heads under my hand.
You won't ever forget her.
Br proud and grateful that you had the strength to help her when she needed you most @airwave ; give yourself permission to grieve when you miss her most; but also allow yourself to smile and laugh through the tears at the good memories when they come; which they will.
