I'm in Sicily, just about to go back to mainland Italy but it seems not many sites open in the south east. I'm thinking of buying a generator to enable some wild camping in comfort. Can anyone tell me how big a generator I need to power up our Eldis Autostratus. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks, Kevin.

1000 watt should be ok with light use.

2000watt will power just about everything except aircon...and you wont be needing that at the moment

an inverter generator will be safer for sensitive equipment....laptop, tv etc.

Does that include electric heating ?

If yes then a whacking big 3kW one. Which is about the same as the best hook up you get on sites.
