hi , looking for an installer in the nottingham ish area, any ideas ?

Have you not thought of doing it yourself ?I u tubed a video that showed you in easy clear steps what you need & how to install.Believe me i`m average joe when it comes to D.I.Y,but found it pretty straight forward.I put the refill valve on the outside skirt which was probably the scariest part.Did all the safety checks afterwards All ok.I ordered everything direct from gasit over the phone.The lads at gasit were very helpful.Give em a call.Oh yeah saved myself about £300.(price quoted by cranham caravans).

Seriously do it yourself , its very easy , the hardest part is taking your time to be sure you are gonna drill / cut the hole in the right place for the Gas filler.

or consider Auto2000 - I found the cost difference for the new 4 valve bottles to be marginal and there was no way I was cutting holes in a new van! If your van has payload challenges they also do aluminum bottles, which we have, and to date they have been excellent. You can also stay over if you need to. Worth getting a quote a least. I don't work them and am not on commission!

don't let them bully you, what's easy for one is a nightmare for others and would be for me too

if not the fitting, which I do agree is not much more than changing a standard cylinder, but the fact that gas pipework, if not fitted properly the end result is not a pretty concept, then the hole in the side to drill, no thanks

I used Automate for satellite and solar panel, they also do Gaslow systems

Used autogas2000.
Do it once and do it properly.
They have all the cylinders there to choose from including 14kg aluminum and underslung tanks.
Do it wrong and it's very dangerous

Alugas2000 ... they will supply your bits, help as much as you need on the fone, AND you get a Funster discount too !

In fact I have only just got off the fone from Chris as I am about to change up to a twin bottle system ( and looking at an underslung tank as well ! )

I 'Bottled it' when it came to drilling a hole in the 'van. SWMBO wouldn't let me.

However, I farmed out the drilling and connecting to a firm in Plympton (Nr Plymouth)(Tamar Towing Centre) and they charged the magnificent sum of £43+pennies for doing the dastardly deed.
They even threw in a comfy seat and a cup of coffee while I waited for them to complete the task.
