Buying one soon
image.jpeg

Hi,

We have two 13kg Calor Gas bottles which are nearly empty. We are in Croatia heading to Italy tomorrow then back to the UK through France over the next 6 weeks.

Just wondering if there are any particular gas bottles which are more prevalent accross Italy and France so that I can buy one adaptor/regulator and one bottle in Italy and then not have to fork out for another one when I get a second bottle in France.

Attached is the current connection.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

France and Italy have different bottles. Not sure if you can get one in Italy with the same connector as one in France. :(

Try and make it to France for a bottle and regulator. The supermarkets do free bottles on a contract, you just pay for the gas.
France seems to be central for the whole of Europe when you need refills.

I bought a 'Le Cube' and a pigtail while in France cost about 40eu all told. Cubes are available at just about all petrol stations and supermarkets. Now I use calor in the UK with the cube as a back up and the reverse in France. Works for me.
