I use one of these pushed into the end of the orange gas pipe and fixed with a clip.

I'm with Andy. Looks like a Bullfinch point.

Last Q, just thought. Is it a standard sized width hose?

More than toes wet now!
Sandra, it is a Bullfinch connection as per Andy. We've got the same on our AT.
If you need one desperately I'm pretty sure Caravan Shop does them but better phone (01413395888) Neil first to confirm.

I would like to buy the water version of this plug as we have the socket installed on the van but it was not available when we bought the van S/H. Handy to draw off water outside to save getting in van or washing sand off feet etc

Bought one yesterday when we were passing Knowepark. Looks like it will be handy to get an inline connector too. The caravan shop will come in handy.

Can't say I think that those bic-ties are a good idea ? :(Proper metal clips are the way to go.(y)
They are barbed fittings and only low pressure at 30mb metal clips achieve no more than good tight cable ties.

Must agree with the others Andy, proper clips should be used, cable ties can deteriorate or get damaged, I have even know them to come undone.
