Hi
In preparation for retirement next year i would like to get a refillable bottle fitted so i can tour longer in France which has been a long held ambition for years. I do not know wether to get 2 new bottles or just one and keep one calor and i would like it fitted i do not feel like DIY has anyone done this. I have looked at both Autogas and Gaslow systems any preference anyone

many many years! since I was a kid
autogas and gasit are the same as gaslow, but much cheaper. can be fitted in an hour so most companies do it while you wait

i bought a gasit system single 11kg and kept a 6kg calor " just in case"! easy to fit took about an hour...:thumb: so far come nowhere near needing the "emergency" 6kg calor and thats after 7 weeks in France touring on a mix of hook up and gas for fridge.

if weight is your priority then Alugas is your choice, if its price then its gasit ( same system as Gaslow only bottles are red not yellow.

any basic handyman can fit this in an hour, just check your joints. ( gasit provide free a simple liquid solution for leak testing )

Because of weight we had an alugas fitted by Dave Newall with funster discount. We can carry a spare calor if needed, but if going touring for longer would buy a country adaptor for where we were going to stay so we could refill there.
