gas bottle replacement (1 Viewer)

hello everybody.

New to motorhoming!!

Anybody had any problems getting a gas bottle out of a autosleeper pollensa,Is there a simple way of removing it, as there is not a lot of room.

Any suggestions would be most helpful, no rude ones though

Hiya and welcome

You havent said what the problem in getting it out is? Is it the size or shape for the gap its in or is it disconnecting the attachment from the bottle?

Hope this suggestion helps, why not go to your local gas bottle supplier - or a shop that regularly changes them. Most will do it for you and swap it over no problem.

It is the size of the bottle that makes it diffcult to get out of the compartment

not much help i know but.............. it went in, so logic says it'll come out:thumb:

from what i found on the net (below) it should have two 7kg bottles.

Practicalities of the Pollensa
Accessing water top-up and electric hook-up points in the Autosleeper Pollensa is easy. The water tank holds a useful 60 litres with the waste-water tank able to contain a reasonable 56 litres. Hot water is supplied by the ubiquitous Truma Ultrastore water heater operating on gas/230v. The electrical control panel in the Autosleeper Pollensa features master switches for 12v lighting and water pump - it also incorporates individual trip switches for every appliance, along with a water level indicator. The mains electrical input has a safety trip switch and there’s mains charging for the secondary battery with 12v split relay. You’ll find two 230v electrical sockets and one 12v in the Autosleeper Pollensa.The external locker for the gas bottles contains two 7kg cylinders.

Just put in the biggest propane bottle you can fit , buy an adapter off 'E' bay and Robert is
your mum's brother. Seemple!:thumb:
