Diesel £1.32.9 at Sainsburys, Winterstoke Road, Bristol today - less 10p per litre discount for spending £60 on groceries in the store = £1.22.9.

Paying £133 here for diesel. Jim i assume you use the mhf log book and record when filling up when we first used the book we got 70L for just over £70 and that was only 2 years ago. Still use the book and good way of looking back on prices.

the only thing that will rescue our economy, a reduction in fuel prices, meaning cheaper purchases, meaning more things made, meaning more money about, meaning a quash on inflation, meaning eventually a raise in interest rates to give our pensioner's and savers a little bit of money they have not had for many years, meaning more disposable income for them, meaning more work for the common man, meaning despite paying more on his mortgage, more security and more confidence to borrow the money that is now back in the banks, meaning, back where we were 12 years ago....

132.9 down here! I was shocked as you last night when I topped up - I had heard rumours of a price war looming, but you hear that so often, I didn't pay much attention.

Who'd have thought that we would think £1.33 was 'keeping the prices real'

Hi Paul, (from just up the road from me), it does sound unbelievable but after seeing it at £1.59p in the Highlands of Scotland not long ago it did not seem to bad.
