we just bought a 1996 fleetwood storm in great shape engine is down on power was told sounds like low fuel presure does anyone know how much it is suppose to have it is 7.4 L 454 on a p30

HI, if you take it into a fuel injection engineer, they should be able to do some callabration tests and tell you what there is is wrong ,:thumb:

Caravan since 1970, motorhome or RV since 1999 then back to a caravan in 2017.
Depending on the spec used in your RV this engine was rated at between 305 and 450 brake horsepower. Given that the stock power for the 6.5 turbo diesel used in the P30 chassis was around 195 (with more torque?) you should have plenty of power unless there is something wrong.

You could try to get some idea of MPG and ask on RVOC if that is what would be expected or, as above, get some friendly technician to have a look.

first thing i would change is the fuel filter and start from there.
