I filled up a few weeks ago here on the Costa Blanca at about 1.28 euros per litre. (diesel & petrol are virtually same price)

The average price now is 1.40 euros for both.

Whether it is the big drop of the euro against the dollar, I dont know, but takes the shine off the improving exchange rate.

    I dunno.. £1.22 a litre is still way better than £1.43 !

Yep same here in France 1.40 eu. /ltr. Petrol is a lot higher at over 1.53eu/lltr & yes its the falling rate against the US dollar. Expected to get a lot worse before it gets better.
