Doorseals

I'm not sure if I'm imagining it, but did I hear somewhere that silicone grease prevents the doorseals from freezing up?

theres more than one use for KY jelly:Eeek::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

yes....a light smear of vasaline or KY will stop it freezing to the seal/frame and very easy to clean off after winter. :thumb:

Do treat cold rubber/plastic very carefully though. I had a cheap plastic mat on the ground to wipe the snow off my boots. Picked it up and banged it against the wheel to get the snow off to pack it away and the damn thing disintegrated.

Doesn't happen back home in OZ (there, they melt. 45ºC there a few days ago)
