After purchasing our first motorhome van conversion after 32years of caravan I wish I had made the transition 30 years ago. We ventured from our sons in Essex to the vast expanse of Suffolk staying on a site we like near Ipswich firstly how much quicker to set up park level wind out awning cold beer from the chiller less than 10mins beats the old days fetch water put up awning (no more threats of divorce because the pole system won't go together or can't hold two poles at once ) followed but you tell me all women can multitask visited Southwold very wet cup of coffee in van no queuing at the tea shop moved to Aldburgh parked on the car park overlooking the blustery North Sea at a snack lunch no queuing for a seat at a cafe oh complete bliss finally arrived at Baldsey cooked our main meal of the day watched what sun there was settle before moving back to the site we were booked oh the joys of motor homing far out way the caravaning experience

Welcome! We started with short trips, but the last was eleven weeks and that's a short one compared to some on here. :)

We are off back to France in a couple of weeks, back the end of October. The more we use it the more we want to go away. I am sure you won't stop liking your MH. :)

Good to see you are converted. There are many ex-tuggers on this forum.

Just wait until you take it abroad and start using the motorhome dedicated Aires in places like France, Italy, Germany, Spin and Portugal. Not only can you park in the middle of town but you can sleep there too!

Nice on @Expat49 it only took us about 20 years to see the light, what have you been messing about at.

Next step is to pay your subs and become full Funsters.

Oh and welcome to FUN.
