My fridge (Electrolux RM4230) is working fine, but I've never been impressed with how cold it gets, and I'm wondering if it needs regassing, and/or a service. Anyone any experience with this? Also can anyone recommend someone in NE England to do the work? I've asked Leisure Tech North East for a price, at the time I couldn't tell himn exactly which model fridge I had so he couldn't be exact but said between £45.00 and £80.00 plus VAT depending on whether it had to be removed or could be serviced in situ, which sounds pretty reasonable to me.

Never thought of that Jaws - and I'm an air conditioning engimineer! Not sure if it makes any difference though, if it needs regassing it would reflect in all modes. We're off for a couple of days tomorrow so I'll take a fridge thermometer with me and check it out.

If it is just the gas it can easily be self serviced :)

If it is electric as well..... getting one regassed is not the pain it used to be, especially for someone in your game !
