Fridge works on gas and 12v however is not working on mains (240v). Anyone help

What is the make & model?

Some fridges don't work on mains - we found that with our son's old Cavalier Coachman.

have you checked your consumer unit, sometimes they are wired direct into the 6amp trip, other than that is there a fused spur or a plug socket that the fridge is pluged/wired into where a fuse might have blown, failing that it seems that the 240v element might have blown, this is located behind the insulation surrounding the flue pipe on back of fridge, afraid it is normally a case of having the fridge out to replace the element.

My fridge has a master switch in the wardrobe for 240v operation.
