The RM 6271 fridge in my 2001 Ci Riviera keeps lighting up (pops ) but seems to blow itself out at the same time, Works fine if i light it with a taper, I suspect that a cleaning has enlarged the jet, I have the ability to measure the jet,but what should it be??. It also sometimes carries on sparking. Not sure the components are perfectly positioned in the burner, are there any pictures around?,

sounds like the igniter is not positioned right, and it should keep sparking until either the controller times out, or it gets a flame lit signal from the thermocouple. Cleaning is one of the main reasons they get out of position, but sometimes a constant draft can cause it. Also, the motorhome must be dead level, within about 4 degrees I think, for it all to work correctly.
