While travelling with the caravan an item inside moved and has put a big scratch along the fridge door.
I've priced a new one at £135. It's a Thetford N112 with a curved silver/grey door.
We're now looking at selling the van to raise funds for our first motorhome and it sticks out like a sore thumb.
Has anyone had one repaired and if so who did it and what was the finished job like ?
Thanks in advance.

Not long enough!
Is it metal and painted or plastic?, I should think one of these mobile places like chips away or summit like that would be able to help(y)

There is a fridge door expert on here - I think his name is @DavidG58
I believe he may have a stock of spare fridge doors.
He's certainly the go to guy for all things fridge door related.

:D:D:D:D:D

I have only got the two Dave, don't go giving the OP false hope :)

To the OP its a long story, save it till we meet one day, but mines Dometic anyway (y)

Since 2009 with motorhomes several caravans then tents before that.
If I were you I'd look into having it repaired. I know our fridge freezer looks to have a laminated plastic front to it . It matches the work surfaces, so I recon, there must be a way that you could take it out and change it , if you wanted. To repair or for a new look.

To be honest I was quite impressed with your price of £135 for a new door, you might find that is for the door without the panel though

Dometic want £400 just for a door I need due to broken fitting, which doesn't come with the décor panel, hope we can move ours across as that adds another £180

good luck with it

Just a google picture Tony. I can assure you it's scratched. Could have kicked myself when I saw it.
