Modern fridges have grooves where the shelves slide into. They are really difficult to clean but i think i may the answer. I used a karcher steamer and it was a doddle.

Mine never gets dirty!!! If I have to wash it due to a spliiiage, I use washing up liquid Much cheaper:thumb:

SWMBO cleans the beer locker using using anti bacterial Detol wipes to ensure theres no chance of mould or other nasty problems that could give us a dodgy tum.

Steam cleaning is the best
Odours can contaminate food in fridges
