fridge broke

    I have an Electroluxe fridge which runs off battery/gas and mains I noticed that now its parked up on the hook up the 240 volt doesn`t work, the other two modes work any ideas.:thumb::thumb::thumb: Thanks ,Rob

    maybe a little obvious but does all the other 230v stuff work.

    have you checked the circuit breaker or switched fuse spur(if it has one)

    Id check the fuse on the contolr panel/zig unit, does the other 240 volt in the van work? could the rcd have tripped.

    Yes I checked the rcd the heater is running off 240.

    You will have to take the fridge out and test the multi switch is sending power to the fridge when its in the 240 position and check for loose wires etc.

    Mine as a green light when on 240 if yours also has one is it on?

    Mmmm I was afraid of that I will do it when the weather is a bit kinder, but then again its not going anywhere and the heater is on. Thanks guys

    I can access all the terminals on mine via an external hatch and check all voltages and gas is present and turned on.

    Are you able to access these connections easily wasp?

    A mains tester or Multimeter used carefully will prove.:thumb:

    Could well be the heater element if its only on the 240v side, I think we may have some.
