Fridge assistance in Preston area please? (1 Viewer)

Are there any engineers for this kind of thing in the Preston area? My fridge gave a little trouble last time we were not on hook-up, so I suspect it needs a service/attention of some description. Research suggests it needs a flue clean/clearing of the jet etc. Same may be true of the gas heater too

I have read the "how-to's" here and on Classic Hymers, but if I am totally honest, this kind of thing is really not my forte and I get concerned that I will get so far and end up totally banjaxing it. Having seen the cost of a new fridge just adds to my concerns I am good at cooking though, and my lasagne is to die for!

I do realise I am lucky enough to live close to Peter Hambleton, but his waiting list (and prices which I am not disputing are value-for-money) does not meet my needs as we are going away beginning of August and likely to be "wilding"

Have you tried Todd's of lostock hall? also look at boat fridge repairers, they can sometimes sort out motorhome fridges. not used any for gas but have used Todd's for other issues or this

Try these...I've been to them for advice, and the 2 or 3 guys that run it couldn't have been more helpful, even gave me some free bits and pieces to repair a shower plug hole.
