Several years now
On our Chausson Flash 10, I have a desire to have a look inside the fresh water tank, mainly to see what the level indication float looks like.

I had a gentle go at removing the inspection "bung", the black object in the photos, but it did not shift. Anybody know if it's a screw-in jobbie or just a push fit with lots of sealant on it ? Obviously, don't want to cause any damage to it as there is no fault, I'm just curious to see inside.

If its really tight you could put a pile of ice on the bung.....pack of deep frozen peas or similar.
it should cool and contract the bung slightly so breaking the rubber seal.

You could run very hot water around the threaded boss in the tank but that may be a little stupid.
