The official Aires book give the opening dates. Many are open all the year, last year we returned from France on 1st November and had no problems finding somewhere throughout October.

Most aires are open all year but may not have the water turned on in the winter because of freezing. Lots of sites close at the end of Sept, but the ACSI book is good for those sites that are open all year. Lots of the Spanish sites are open all year though because of better weather.

Don't only look at ACSI, look also at the reports of Funsters on sites in France. We are too small for ACSI (we have only 25 touring pitches, and ACSI demand at least 40), but we are open all year AND we have 16A ehu and fresh water that is available all year.

So come in winter or summer - you'll get a great welcome and your Funster discount even in the height of summer!
